Stephen "The Wonderboy" Thompson is the head instructor of the children’s karate program at Upstate Karate in Simpsonville, SC, and is the oldest son of Ray Thompson who is also his trainer and manager.  He has been studying the martial arts for 18 years, holds a 4th degree black belt in Kempo Karate, a 2nd degree black belt in Kickboxing, and a black belt in Jujitsu. 

Stephen has a professional fight record of 11 wins and 0 losses with 10 KOs.  His amateur fight record is 37 wins and 0 losses with 19 KOs.  His titles include:

Stephen is 24 years old. He is a model for FACE National Models and Talent based in Charlotte, N.C.  Stephen has performed along with his dad at the Peace Center for the Performing Arts in the "Athletes Project," and is currently in a Carowinds commercial.  Stephen just recently performed as one of the "Karate" interests in a musical concert entitled "Remembering the King 'A Tribute to Elvis'" where he was a stunt performer in the show. His goals are to attend college this fall and study business and accounting so he can someday take over and manage his father’s Martial arts school.
