Mr. Joseph started his Martial Arts training at Upstate Karate in 1996 as a four year old Little Dragon. He has trained consistantly since the age of four and has earned his Senior Black Belt in Kempo Karate at Upstate Karate. Over the years Mr. Joseph has competed in many Sparring , Grappling and Weapons competitions. The knowledge he has gained from his competitons, he brings to the class room for the benefit of his Upstate Karate students.

Mr. Joseph has goals to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and continue his training in Kempo Karate and traditional martial arts weapons. He is a member of the Upstate Karate Demonstration Team where he enjoys sharing his martial arts techniques and acrobatics skills with the community at various events. Mr. Joseph is also a member of the Upstate Karate Special Winning Attitudes Team.
